A group of youths in Ijebu-North Local Government, Ogun State, under the name; Ijebu-North Youth Coalition has yesterday, erected two banners at Ijebu-Igbo and Oru to further push the ambition of all APC candidates especially Hon. Engineer Joseph Folorunsho Adegbesan, who is vying for the Federal House of Representatives Seat under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The INYC, which Includes several youths from all parts of Ijebu-North, including Ago-Iwoye gathered funds and logistics amongst themselves to produce banners and create mobile publicity for Adegbesan; the candidate representing Ijebu-North, Ijebu-East, and Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency.
In a meeting with stakeholders and members of the group, Hon. Ayodele Olukunle Arole, an APC Leader from Ijebu-North noted that the aims and objectives of the group is to constantly support reliable representation and promote grassroots/party and technocratic relationship amongst electorates in Ijebu-North in order to ensure victory for Honourable Adegbesan and other APC candidates.
Honourable Tolu Ogunnariwo also mentioned that the right thing to do was ensure that all APC candidates get the same ratio of support in the build-up to the elections in order to ensure victory for them all. This, according to him, will help Hon. Adegbesan live up to expectations once he emerges as the lawmaker representing Ijebu-North Federal Constituency.
The leadership of the Ijebu-North Youth Coalition has consistently reiterated that the APC slogan “SWEEP IT ALL” is a reason to improve morale and ensure that all candidates emerge come 2023.
The Chairman, Ijebu-North Local Government, Hon. Bolaji Odusanya, and several aides to the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun were also present yesterday as preparations were put in place for the erection of banners and the proposed rally that brought all supporters and stakeholders of the party together yesterday at Ijebu-North.
